7th May - Bike

Whinfell Hall - Whinlatter Pass - Newlands Pass - Whinfell Hall

31.4km (734m ascent) - 1hr 28.

Feeling ok, but had probs with bike following crash so did Newlands Pass (25% gradient) on 39/23 - brutal.

5th May - Fell Run, Swim

Ran from Duddon Valley to Coniston Water (1hr 22) then swam one width of Coniston Water.

Sh1t weather but pleased to be back on the game (see prev. post).

3rd May - Bike

Duddon Valley

91 metres (top speed 29.6 kph), 2 metres ascent - overall ride 40 seconds, then:-

- hit dry-stone wall
- knocked unconscious for 30 seconds
- ambulance trip to Barrow-in-Furness A+E department

Swim - Coniston Water - 1 mile, 30 mins

Fell Run - Three Shires Stone to Wallabarrow - 2hrs 10

Feeling good.
